The Canberra Times Fun Run – 8th September 2013Canberra Times Fun Run

Run for yourself or as part of team and take on the challenge of the 10k Fun Run and power your way through the heart of Canberra. Families will enjoy the 5k Family Walk starting at the Jerrabomberra Wetlands off Dairy Road.The course takes walkers near the shores of Lake Burley Griffin with views of The National Carillion on Aspen Island. 5kms Fun Run that stars from the Jerrabomberra Wetlands.

Sunday Mail City Bay Fun RunSunday Mail City-Bay Fun Run – 15th September 2013

The City-Bay is an annual fun run/walk event held on the third Sunday of September since 1973 – this year it will be held on Sunday 15th September 2013.
The event has three starts, 12km, 6km and 3km and extends from the City along Anzac Highway, continuing to Glenelg. Whilst the event has elite runners and walkers from around Australia as part of its content, the main emphasis is on improving health and fitness of the masses who participate for fun and achievement. Participants range in age from children in prams to adults aged over 90, with the majority age range between 20 – 75 years.
